Source: Catholic World News - March 09, 2012Two Catholic activists in Vietnam have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms for distributing pamphlets written by the jailed human-rights activist, Father Nguyen Van Ly.
Vo Thi Thu Thuy was sentenced to 5 years in prison, and Nguyen Van Thanh to 3 years. They had been handing out literature advocating a democratic government system. Father Van Ly, who has been imprisoned several different times, is still in prison after his latest arrest last July.
